Hello, I’m Sasha Tsyrlin, and I’ve photographed in every borough of NYC as a location scout for movies, music videos, and tv commercials. I’ve worked with such visionary directors as Martin Scorsese, Tony Scott, and Sam Mendes. 

As an engagement photographer, I love shooting couples in cinematic locations that tell their special stories. Along with Kate Tsyrlin, stylist and camera assistant, I aim to create a playful and stress-free atmosphere, so that the photos will capture you together in a way that feels authentic, natural, and beautiful. 

For weddings and other intimate events, I create memorable images of you and your partner and seek out moments of joy and connection among your guests. My wedding photos have appeared in the New York Times.

I use both Leica M3 and Rolleiflex 3.5F analog cameras, which deliver rich colors, exquisite details, and an organic look. I shoot in both black/white and color film. I will provide prints on request.  

I am local for New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut shoots and will travel to other destinations.
